SportsCare Comeback Athlete of the Month – January 2014

SPORTSCARE COMEBACK ATHLETE OF THE MONTH — On a monthly basis, SportsCare Physical Therapy — the official therapy provider for the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets — acknowledges an extraordinary athlete who has recovered from injury and returned to their sport. For January 2014, SportsCare recognizes Madison, NJ’s Mackenzie Goodwin a junior volleyball player at Marywood University in Scranton, PA.

Goodwin tore her anterior cruciate ligament and had reconstructive surgery. Soon after, she began rehabilitation with therapist Sejal Gajarawala, DPT, at SportsCare Physical Therapy in Madison. Today, she has returned to health and is back on the volleyball court.
